ВДНХ and St. Basil's

Honestly, I could not be more overwhelmed with things to do. I leave for vacation in less than 24 hours. And yet, here I am blogging!

I'm finding that it's a lot easier to just post pictures with explanations, than try to explain everything followed by pictures for clarification. So without further ado...

ВДНХ:
ВДНХ (pronounced V.D.N.Ha.) is a park on the north end of Moscow. Everyone in my group had been there but me. Luckily, Jenn, Elizabeth and Logan wanted to check it out some more last Saturday. It was SO cold. And we ran out of time to go see the attraction we meant to visit (Ostankino TV Tower). But that just means we have a reason to go back :)

We got to ride the pretty metro trains!

Oquirrah Mountain Temple or Russian Monument?
You decide.

St. Basil's Cathedral:
Jenn and I had a little bit of free time on Tuesday morning. So we went to St. Basil's downtown at Red Square. This is the ONLY cathedral I've been to that has allowed photography.

You're supposed to rub the dog's nose for good luck!

And last but not least, other pictures from this week that I wanted to include!

Russian Roulet! Literally.
And for less than $1 at that.
